Sunrise ride

Experience the early morning hours on the queen of the mountains and listen to moving alphorn sounds in the midst of peaceful nature.

Experience a very special Sunday morning on the Queen of the Mountains. Before dawn, take the world's oldest electric rack railway (built in 1911) from Goldau to Rigi Kulm. Once at the top, enjoy the sunrise in the midst of the tranquil mountain world, accompanied by atmospheric alphorn sounds and a breathtaking panorama.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to round off the morning with a regional breakfast at Alp Chäserenholz. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish: stay on the Rigi, go for a hike, or travel back individually on a regular train.
